The sensor has been damaged or removed from the machine.
A local gateway has gone down
The nearest gateway is located too far from the sensor(s).
The wireless signal between sensor and gateway has been interrupted (for instance, a door that is normally open between the sensor and gateway has been closed).
The sensor battery is dead.
The sensor has failed from some unknown reason.
Check that the sensor is still installed on the machine and has no visible damage.
Check status of local gateways (see Troubleshooting Gateway Communications).
Move a gateway close to the sensor to see if communication is restored.
Alternatively, remove the sensor from the machine and place it close to an active gateway.
If moving the gateway or sensor restored communications, a gateway will need to be placed closer to the sensor.
